Best price and best performance for Mac RAM.

I wanted to double the amount of RAM in my MacBook Pro and this set of Corsair RAM fits the bill perfectly. A great price and optimized for the Mac, I couldn't ask for anything more!
I've been using the RAM for a month now without any problems. I definitely see a performance boost in many of my day to day operations.
With RAM prices so low, now's the time to upgrade your computer on the cheap. This is one of the best ways to boost performance! |
Great for my Windows netbook

I bought this RAM after doing some research on whether or not it would work with my Windows XP os. Signs seemed to point to yes but that Windows RAM will not necessarily work with Macs.
I was delighted to find that it worked just fine on my netbook running Windows XP.
Definitely increased speed but remember these things still have [relatively] slow processors so don't expect to be able to do everything you can on a regular desktop or full sized laptop at the same speed.
Also for those who may occasionally experience some "mouse lag" on your netbook,
this seemed to help some with that too.
All in all, very satisfied. I paid much less for this than I would have buying identical RAM that was specifically for Windows. |
Good Deal

| I ordered this product this week and I already got it with free shipping, the installation took me about 3 minutes and the end results are amazing. I run graphic applications all the time and the speed my pro now has with the memory upgrade is awesome. They sell this same one memory at other retailers for $90.00 and more and plus the rebate they have you can't go wrong. |

Very Overpriced RAM

You can easily find 4GB kits of this exact same ram for LESS than this 2GB Kit. These days MACS take exactly the same ram specifications as PC computers, and as long as you are getting PC2-5300 667MHZ SODIMM chips, they will virtually ALL work with a MAC or a PC.
Here are some much better prices for RAM that will also work in your MAC:
2GB:
1. Crucial 2GB
2. Kingston 2GB
4GB:
1. Kingston 4GB Kit (2x2GB)
2. Corsair 4GB (2X2GB) kit
Save your money. There's no reason to overspend on RAM. |
